Max Holloway has knocked out Jun Chang-Sung "The Korean Zombie" at UFC Singapore. "Blessed" floored Zombie in the third round, scoring a stunning walk-off knockout . This is the first KO/TKO finish for Holloway since Brian Ortega in 2018.

The first half of round one was spent measuring range and timing for both men. Zombie rushed Holloway, backing him up to the fence and rocking him with a left hook. Holloway intercepted Zombie's pressure, forcing him to disengage.

Holloway found success feinting to the body and attacking the head, touching Zombie twice up top with thudding left hooks. Zombie's success seemed to have awoken Holloway, who rocked Zombie with a check hook as the final minute approached.

Zombie stormed Holloway, stunning him in the dying seconds of round one. It could have been anyone's round, with Holloway causing the most damage.

Holloway dropped Zombie in a quick exchange and jumped on his neck when he realized referee Marc Goddard wouldn't call the stoppage. Though it looked locked in, Zombie escaped and the fight became a striking affair once again.

"Blessed" continued to stun Zombie with whatever he threw. Still, Zombie was finding success --- if only Holloway wasn't renowned for having one of the best chins in UFC history.

Zombie threw caution to the wind in the opening seconds of round three, storming Holloway in an attempt to overload the Hawaiian star. It was the wrong decision, however, as Holloway stayed committed and launched a mean check hook which clubbed Zombie over the top of the head.

Zombie went crashing to the canvas and the fight was called off.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword," Mike Bisping remarked on the commentary team

Zombie confirmed his retirement as part of his post-fight speech, and was met with great applause from the Singapore crowd. "Zombie" played over the speakers, the crowd sang, and Zombie wept as he hugged his team for the final time in the UFC octagon.

MMA is not kind.
